Tt's pure. all-new ZXi irons are made with our groundbreaking I-FORGED technology, an innovative formula that strengthens and enhances each ZXi iron to produce superior feel, along with better distance, forgiveness, and control. They're engineered for those in pursuit of victory, with pure performance behind every strike.
We've spent decades in pursuit of the best-feeling Irons possible. i-FORGED, or Impact Forged, is our latest step in that journey. It's an array of our greatest innovations in Iron metallurgy to date, cementing our worldwide leadership as forging technologists.
IDEAL STEEL
What's the softest steel we've ever used to make an Iron? S15C, which makes ZXi7 7% softer. ZXi5 and ZXiU face plates are also 14% softer. And ZXi4 now features the softer SUS17-47 for its body material.
CONDENSED FORGING*
Using softer steels enhances ZXi feel. But strength matters, too. To deliver both, we use Condensed Forging. Here's how it works:
The hydraulic dies which forge red-hot billets into ZXi Irons imprint an array of raised features onto each rough Iron shape. A second forge condenses those protrusions back into the clubhead, placing strength in those precise locations without sacrificing overall feel.

HEAT SOFTENING
Because Condensed Forging adds localized strength right where we need it, we have the freedom to re-optimize the temperature of our heat-treating ovens and produce our softest treatments yet.

TECHNOLOGY
i-FORGED
Condensed Forging stretching from the high-toe area and along the topline of the Iron blade enhances overall strength, durability, and feel. Then, the forged faces on ZXi5 are softened to improve this already exceptional feel. Added tungsten weighting perfects CG placement for ideal performance.
MAINFRAME
MainFrame saves additional weight and adds more MOI through an enhanced network of milled channels on the back side of the Iron face. At impact, this system amplifies ball speed and adds forgiveness.
TOUR V.T. SOLE
Our Tour V.T. Sole's proprietary combination of sole widths, bounce angles, and notches ensures a smooth glide through fairway, rough, and sand without any loss of speed.
PROGRESSIVE GROOVES
The 3i-7i feature wider grooves, while the 8i-AW have deeper, closer-set grooves, to ensure consistent spin across the set. Laser milling between each groove, on every loft, enhances adds bite on every strike.
PLAYERS DISTANCE SHAPE
ZXi5 features a slightly wider sole with moderate blade length and offset, giving attuned golfers enhanced distance, forgiveness, and workability—all with an ultra-clean look at address.

ZXi Irons are carefully designed with combination sets in mind. Address profiles and topline thicknesses are as consistent as possible, set to set. Place varying degrees of workability, forgiveness, or launch angle into the long, mid, or short Irons of your preference.

This combination is the most popular with our professional tour staff. It pairs extremely forgiving long Irons with highly workable short Irons. ZXiU Utilities are available in 2i-4i and are a preferred substitute for traditional long Irons.
MAX FORGIVENESS
A combo designed to help you score your best. This highly forgiving set pairs cavity back short Irons with hollow long Irons for a confidence-inspiring Iron game.
Ordered as custom, suggested sets are 4i-6i or 4i-7i in ZXi4 and 7i-PW or 8i-PW in ZXi5. Other combinations are also available.
TOUR PREFERRED
This combination is the most popular with our professional tour staff. It pairs extremely forgiving long Irons with highly workable short Irons. ZXiU Utilities are available in 2i-4i and are a preferred substitute for traditional long Irons.
