HYDRAZIP
- Cleveland's proprietary dynamic blast and laser-milled line system creates roughness to enhance friction on the face—maximizing spin in wet or dry conditions, and from anywhere around the green—while also reducing glare at address.

- Set in the heart of CBX 4 ZipCore Wedges, this lightweight and low-density core technology works in concert with the cavity back design—reducing vibrations while also shifting weight and boosting MOI for increased feel, control, consistency, and forgiveness over last generation.
ULTIZIP
- UltiZip’s network of sharp, deep, and tightly spaced face grooves maximizes performance at contact. By slicing through and channeling debris to bite harder, UltiZip offers purer spin, more control, and more consistency.

For CBX 4, three different blast media and laser-milled line patterns are used. The 50°–52° Wedges, with their slightly higher lofts, get a slightly rougher blast and more lines. And the 54°–60° Wedges, with their highest lofts, receive the roughest blast and the most lines to increase friction and improve consistency.
THREE GRINDS, MADE EASY
With CBX 4 ZipCore Wedges, we make the sole grind selections for you. By pre-selecting each grind by loft, it's the easiest way to get just the right performance, right where you need it. Plus, all three sole grinds also feature a new leading-edge bounce chamfer to help the Wedge quickly get in and out of the turf from a variety of greenside attack angles, reducing chunks.
Our innovative V-shaped sole in lofts 44°–52° makes full swing and square-faced shots a breeze by gliding over turf without digging, even if you strike slightly behind the ball.
An S-shaped sole with added bounce on 54°–56° lofts is ideal for bunker shots and open-face finesse shots from the rough or fairway, helping you get in and out of the sand or turf without losing speed.
A C-shaped grind on lofts 58°–60° is perfect for lob shots with an open face, and heel- and toe-side relief mean you're free to manipulate the face angle to suit any greenside situation.
