Mizuno ST-MAX 230 Driver
ST-MAX 230 DRIVER
MAX MOI. MAX STABILITY.
A low profile, wide footprint driver that looks noticeably larger than its measured 460cc. An expanded CORTECH Chamber and 54 grams of back weighting combine to create Mizuno’s most stable ever driver, with exceptional straight-line performance across its wide, inviting clubface.
The ST MAX 230 driver unveils two new engineering enhancements to ensure that stability is backed with impressive ball speeds – a next generation CORTECH Chamber and new Bet rich LFS Ti clubface.
Delivering an impressive ball flight that stays on whatever line you set it.
THROUGH SLOT PROVIDES ADDITIONAL CORAREA BY PROVIDING SOLE FLEX
"The goal of the ST-MAX project was to engineer the greatest MOI and performance from off centre strikes conceivable - but not sacrifice ball speed or make the profile too cumbersome to look at."
CHRIS VOSHALL / MIZUNO GOLF
NEW BETA RICH TI LFS
A new lighter, faster face material – measuring 9% higher in tensile strength (compared to SAT2041) for a complex multi-thickness face geometry. First introduced on Mizuno’s 2024 Tour driver the ST-G 440cc.
MAX STABILITY
Wide profile, massive 54g back weighting and 40% larger graphite composite for extreme twist resistance to off centre strikes and a straight, predictable ball flight.
QUICK SWITCH HOSEL
4 degrees of adjustability.

EXTENDED
A dense stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU - taking stress from the clubface and creating an additional energy source. Lengthened in the ST MAX and shifted closer to the clubface to maintain ball speeds across a wider portion of the clubface.

LONGER 45 ¾ INCH SHAFT FOR FASTER CLUBHEAD SPEEDS
Possible through the additional stability and off centre performance of the ST MAX head.

4 degrees of adjustability.
TECHNICAL DETAILS
- CORTECH Chamber: THE MISSING PIECE: Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber encases a dense stainless steel weight with elastomeric TPU, taking stress from the club face and creating an additional energy source. At the same time, locating weight closer to the club face to reduce spin rates, while contributing to a more solid, powerful sensation at impact.
- Highly resilient Forged SAT2041 Beta-Ti Face: As a high strength Beta Titanium, SAT2041 maintains its characteristics and resists micro-fractures for longer than commonly used 6-4 Titanium.
- Quick Switch Adaptor : 4 degrees of loft adjustability to fine tune trajectory and look.
- Z-Axis design for straight line flight: Balanced use of carbon composite on the sole and a deep central sole weight, make a bias towards a straight ball flight and low spin efficiency.
- Wide, low footprint: Visually gives a neutral lie angle.
- 'Dense' or solid feedback: The majority of Mizuno's tour players expressed a preference for a 'dense' feedback through impact. Mizuno's engineers spent a year fine tuning the sound to a more muted, powerful tone.
- Unified Sole Composite: A carbon sole plate that is now a single piece to allow weight to be pushed to the extremes for overall stability.

* Mizuno has recently changed its official measurement method to match the USGA / R&A standard. As a consequence our published club lengths are now 1/4 inch longer (when actual club length is unchanged).
